hello pple... i'm back! haha.. went to bangkok last sat with my mum, tam and her mum, and came back today... the past 3 days have been spent walking, walking and more walking!! no pics though, cos i didn't take any....
day 1 was spent at suan lum night bazaar.. had dinner and the seafood restaurant and shopping there... i think the weather there is so super hot! even though forecast predict rainy/stormy weather...
as for day 2, we went to the chatuchak market and although it was my second time there, i can still get lost, as in, i can't remember the shops i've passed by and those which i had not... after chatuchak, as it was still early, we went to those shopping centres near our hotel to walk.. there's a world trade centre there.. only a few shops are opened.. the rest are still under renovation.. think will be ready by december this yr.. and it's the biggest shopping centre in bangkok... by day 2, my legs are already aching from all the walking..
for day 3, we went to mbk to do our shopping... i had my dunkin donuts there.. =) but my mum didn't really like them, as she prefers those traditional ones.. and since we ordered 4 donuts.. i ended up eating 3 of them! 2 was still alright.. 3 was quite alot.. since the donuts are so sweet.. plus i ate the munchkins as well!! after mbk, we went back to suan lum to do our last min shopping... nothing much actually..
this time round, i didn't really buy a lot of things.. jus a few pieces of clothes that's all.. think it'll be quite a while before i go back to bangkok again.. i wanna go other countries! :) well, but one thing, i really like the ppl there.. i think they are very friendly and honest! i mean those whom i came across, like the hotel staff and the taxi drivers... oh ya.. and on my flight back, i saw a very shuai air steward! bilingual... his chinese is like those china kind, and yet his english carries an american accent!!! ;)
